1) Read this article on Google Calendars.

2) Log-in to your Google Apps account.

3) Now, create your personal calendar in Google Apps. Enter at least 15 different events (include descriptions for all) for your calendar (Birthdays, Special Events, Projects due, etc). If there are specific times for events, please use them; otherwise make the event "all day".

Requirements:

At least 3 events in March
At least 4 additional events in April
At least 4 additional events before end of school year.
At least 4 additional events before end of 2010
Create and set "reminders" for at least two events in March or April.
Change default view to MONTH
REPEATING events counts as ONE!

Create a new form for the Items table. Customize it duplicating the features we've learned to date:
* Header with 2 labels - One a form title and the other containing your name. Format each label differently. Use color for labels and Header background.
* List box
* Combo box
* "Backing" rectangle featuring specific fields
* Rearrange fields
Create a new Yes/No field in the Item table - "Bulk Discount Offered?"
Populate this field as "No" for first two suppliers and "yes" for second two.
Create a memo field - "Assembly Instructions" - for the Item table.
Add your new fields to your form.
Print your form

1) The Circuit For College Bound IT Students - The purpose of The Circuit’s scholarships are to assist local students in furthering their IT education at a local college / university. A committee will make a selection from applications received by December 31, 2009. The awardees will be announced in early 2010 and the scholarships (as determined by the committee) will be distributed through the college Financial Aid office for classes beginning in Fall 2010.

So, what do you think an "A"-level document is? We'll establish some standards with this assignment!

For the purpose of this exercise, you are hoping to become gainfully employed as the Guest Reviewer at your local newspaper. You have been asked to submit written reviews of the following:

A movie you have recently seen;
A song/artist you recently heard;
A restaurant you recently ate at; and
A book you have read.

All reviews should be 1 to 2 paragraphs in length. At least one must be of something you didn't like. Pull out all the stops to make this look good!

Submit printed copy AND file e-mailed as an attachment. Due Wednesday, September 2.
